NTFS

With the introduction of Windows NT, Microsoft replaced the aging MS-DOS FAT file system with a faster, more secure, 32-bit way to provide disk and file access. Unfortunately, NTFS is not compatible with FAT, and only Windows NT can read and write NTFS-formatted drives.
