The amount of time a phosphor or diode
pixel stays lit after current has been applied to it. A pixel's
persistence is what allows an image to remain on the screen between screen
refreshes. Screens with short-persistence pixels may show flicker, while
those with long-persistence pixels may show ghosting. |
